At the Children’s Workshop, every day learning is elevated with care and commitment- and a space that reflects that through a lens of joy and possibility.

At the Children’s Workshop, staff, students and their families work together to create an engaging learning experience. Our goal is to further activate the re-imagined learning spaces, and support the goals and values of its users.

For students at Children’s Workshop, a typical classroom setting is not ideally suited to meet their individual learning styles. Thriving in one-on-one teaching modules, the newly designed spaces were filled with individual “houses” of natural and boldly-painted wood. The sense of play and joy is felt in all the adjoining educational “neighborhoods” and feels just right.

Think differently.

Flying to learn.

We worked with the client to create a narrative that would feel true for all their students - from the very youngest to the almost-teens at the school. The idea of flight was the perfect analogy for their journeys - from land-based butterflies to rocket ships, each student’s journey is taking them higher year after year.

Explore more.

Our design direction for the brand and visual language of the Children’s Workshop centered around play. The ideas of freedom and exploration that informed other aspects of the experiential and architectural design are also present here. Bold colors and playful shapes invite everyone to see things in new ways and imagine the possibilities that life offers.
